Chin Check - 338 (UFC 329 NE Recap)
The anticipation was so high, and even though the end wasn’t what we hoped, ‘International Fight Week 2026’ ended with a fantastic ‘Numbered Event’, that had more bang then anyone could have hoped for!
Although only one of our debuting fighters walked away with a win, John Garza still showed a whole lot of talent, and made it clear, he won't be an easy match for anyone. Then there's Gable Steveson, who definitely lived up to the hype and expectations! With so many finishes on the night, it just felt right that King Green got to walk away with an extra bag! So many fighters have stacked a claim for that next step, Farid Basharat, Brandon Royval, and Mario Bautista all could headline 'Fight Nights' going forward, along with Green!
The BIG winner of the night is undoubtedly Paddy Pimblett, who not only bounced back from his first loss in the promotion, but also let it be known, if you don't respect the skills, see how unconsciousness feels! When you think about everything leading into this weekends ‘UFC’, no truer words have been spoken, than those from the great James Todd:

Cause when ‘The Notorious’ steps into the cage Saturday night, he’s not thinking ring rust, he’s mind is set on destruction! However, he’s not facing a fresh faced rookie, the ‘Blessed’ is also one of the greatest to ever do it, and he’s not looking to playing the part of a sacrilegious lamb!
This is an outstanding match-up, BUT, the card has EVEN more intrigue to it! We have two debuts, one of which is for a fighter who could go on to reshape the face of the ‘Heavyweight’ division. There’s a former champion moving up a weight class to a stiff opening test. A beloved vet opening the ‘Main card’ looking to show, the dog still got bark! Championship aspirations at Flyweight, and a rematch at Bantamweight that could solidify a title shot. PLUS, a ‘Co-main’ that could have headlined a ‘Fight Night’ and will most definitely give us a title challenger!!!!

Chin Check - 319 (UFC Fight Night 274 Preview)
So the UFC is back home, back in Vegas, at the Meta Apex for another 'Fight Night'. We have a great card, anchored a former Bantamweight Champion and a surging young star! And before that, essentially the number one contender for the winner of the upcoming Women's Bantamweight belt, and a challenger on an impressive hot streak. Now, I think there's probably a lot on these fights, right?
If Norma Dumont wins, she's cemented her shot at the belt. BUT, if Joselyne Edwards wins, she could have next! There is obviously Mosar Evolve, BUT, maybe an impressive win gets Aljamain Sterling or Youssef Zalal a shot or a contender bout?!?
There are 13 fights on the card, with two debuts, so @ChinCheckPod (ep 319) jumped in to work out who's getting their hand raised! A lot of close match-ups, so lets see what happens on ‘UFC Fight Night: Sterling vs Zalal’!?!
Chin Check - 305 (UFC 326 Preview)
Saturday night is 'Fight Night', and it promises high-octane action and nail-biting drama as we head back to Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.
On the night we have a stack of incredible fights (Don't listen to Dan Hardy!), there's a LOT on the line. We have a couple of debuts, some fighters potentially fighting for their tenure on the roster. There are veterans trying to show they still have it, and young guns looking to take that shine! We also have TWO re-matches, Robocop goes at The Hulk again, and then the Headline bout!!!
Like with the 'UFC 318' fight, this 'BMF' title clash is a rematch, and it is fire! So, @ChinCheckPod (ep 305) is ready to preview this intriguing card, so you can get ready for 'UFC 326: Holloway (c) vs Oliveira 2'!!!!

Big names have been doing their thing in recent weeks, but as the UFC comes home to Las Vegas, it's the up-and-comers who are taking centre stage tonight!
There are several fights on the 13 strong card that have serious ramifications for positions in title contention! Such as Norma Dumont hoping to seal her shot with a win over Ketlen Vieira. As the Heavyweight division is thin, Waldo Cortes-Acosta & Ante Delija will be trying to get closer with a win. And of course, the Headline bout, between Steve Garcia & David Onama could provide the next challenger for the strap!

After its recent globetrotting antics, the 'UFC' has come back home, to the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas for the first of TWO October PPVs!
With two debuts on a stacked card of 14 fights, this card has an abundance of "oh damn!" throughout! Standouts on the 'Early Prelims' are Chris Gutiérrez vs Farid Basharat & Ramiz Brahimaj vs Austin Vanderford. On the 'Prelims' proper you have Edmen Shahbazyan vs André Muniz & Patchy Mix vs Jakub Wikłacz. And the 'Main Cards' featured bout, Jiří Procházka vs Khalil Rountree Jr could headline it's own card!!!

Every September, the fight world gears up for 'Mexican Independence Day' celebrations, and in 2023 the UFC started their now annual 'Noche UFC' events! It was due to be in Guadalajara, but circumstances had it moved to San Antonio, Texas.
Though the venues changed, the night is still stacked with some of Mexico's current and rising stars. As well as those looking to take their shine for themselves.
