After controversy and some big changes to the card, the UFC is hoping that another stint at the Meta Apex will bring the US it's own 'Fireworks Night' (a 'Guy Fawkes' reference people!)!
With 14 fights ready to go, and match-ups that'll really highlight talents potential, four fighters will be stepping in the Octagon for the first time. Carlos Calderon comes through on short-notice, high on confidence, but Austin Bashi wants back in the win column! There's a new heavyweight in town, as Gabriel Lorenço Pinto brings clubs & subs to try and derail Thomas Petersen's train! A new Japanese prospect wants to build on his momentum, as Keiichiro Nakamura is ready to bring his violence to the cage. But,'The Hungarian Stallion' Ollie Schmid might have a backfist ready for him! And Marcos Degli is riding a 13+ win streak, however, Mitch Raposo knows how to go to war!
On top of all this, our 'featured bout' sees British buzzsaw, 'Dangerous' Davey Grant welcome rising star Elijah Smith to his biggest spotlight yet! Our 'Co-main' has two former Strawweight title challengers Tatiana Suarez & Virna Jandiroba ready to see who can constrict the others will, and get back to that revered pinnacle! THEN, in the 'Headline' spot, they took it on short-notice, and these Heavyweights might not be Kaiju, but they definitely ain't minus zeros! Waldo Cortes-Acosta knows he has to pitch a perfect gameplay and not let up the pressure. While after a successful transition up Johnny Walker has no restrictions holding him back!!! Man, @ChinCheckPod (ep 371) got into this preview, hard! So, don't miss a second of the 'UFC Fight Night: Cortes-Acosta vs Walker' breakdown!!!!
