To cap off the ‘THIRD’ slice of this week’s @EchoChamberFP we take a look at a brand new documentary!!!

There are often things that nurture and uplift us, that speak to our heritage, but get maligned, policed or co-opped. Which makes the conversations had in this brand new documentary so important! And thanks to Sophia Benalouane @sofiabn_ and the great people at ChicArt, we got to look at the feature, as well as speak to the woman who is driving the charge for change!!!

'1001 Crowns for My Head' @1001_couronnes_pour_ma_tete is the solo feature directorial debut from Habibata Ouarme, which she also wrote. Each braid, each curl, each hairstyle reflects a collective memory.1001 Crowns immerses you in an experience where hair becomes an act of self-affirmation and identity.
