Now we get into 'Part TWO' of this week's @EchoChamberFP and we have a return guest!!!

All the way back on episode '268', was when we first the pleasure of welcoming Daniel Bowhers onto the podcast to chat about his debut feature 'Blue Hour: The Disappearance of Nick Brandreth'. So when we saw he had a new joint ready and waiting, we had to get him back for another in-depth look at filmmaking and his process of character driven indie motion! There's definitely no sophomore slump, there's evolution, expansion and great, captivating storytelling. So get comfortable and ready for 84 minutes of fun and engagement!!!

'Beyond The Drumlins' is directed by Daniel Bowhers, who co-wrote with Michael Kowalski. Professor Jonathan Rust's expedition goes awry when a teammate (Emma Jessop) vanishes. As his group (Morgan DeTogne, Dan Titmuss, Goodfella Mike G) searches for answers, they stumble into a chilling realm between life and death. Where sanity unravels and the true cost of unearthing the past is found.

Daniel Bowhers

Visual Effects (VFX), Writer, Director, Editor, Producer, Cinematographer

My name is Daniel Bowhers and I am a New England born, New York City based filmmaker and visual effects artist. In elementary school I began making stop motion films and quickly realized making movies was a more palatable alternative to traditional school projects. In 2002 I enrolled at Clark University in Worcester, MA where I studied Art and Film history as well as International Relations. In 2007 I moved to New York City where I began working in the Company 3 vault cleaning negative for features and commercials. Shortly after that I stumbled into a career as a VFX artist where I have been working ever since. I co-founded Tiny Voice with photographer Nick Brandreth in 2017. Our short films have been screened globally and we remain particularly fond of our surrealist-horror fever dream - Ten, Thirteen, Twelve. As a filmmaker I am extremely excited to continue to explore themes of doom, anxiety and the human struggle to resist the inevitable.

I also enjoy cycling, cats and pizza. Please reach out if you would like to discuss film or anything else.
