There’s a sequel to the 2022 smash hit video game adaptation, thanks to Illumination, Nintendo, Universal Pictures. Which this time explores space. 'The Magic Faraway Tree' is directed by Ben Gregor, and written by Simon Farnaby, based on the Enid Blyton book series. A modern family (Claire Foy, Andrew Garfield, Delilah Bennett-Cardy, Phoenix Laroche, Billie Gadsdon) relocates to the countryside where the children discover a magical tree with eccentric residents. They’re transported to fantastical lands, rekindling their family bond through adventures.
'Pretty Lethal' is directed by Vicky Jewson, and written by Kate Freund. A troupe of ballerinas (Maddie Ziegler, Lana Condor, Avantika, Iris Apatow, Millicent Simmonds) find themselves fighting for survival as they attempt to escape from a remote inn after their bus breaks down on the way to a dance competition.
'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' is directed by Aaron Horvath & Michael Jelenic, and written by Matthew Fogel. Mario (Chris Pratt) ventures into space, exploring cosmic worlds and tackling galactic challenges far from the familiar Mushroom Kingdom.
'Splitsville' is directed by Michael Angelo Covino, who co-wrote with Kyle Marvin. Two couples (Adria Arjona, Kyle Marvin, Dakota Johnson, Michael Angelo Covino) whose friendship erupts into conflict when the husband of a divorcing couple sleeps with the wife of an open marriage couple.
