Echo Chamber - 428 - Part One
You can hear ‘Part Two’ of this week’s episode, HERE!!!
We’ve got a couple of sequels firing off on @EchoChamberFP this week, plus an indie horror…..AND it’s a ‘TWO Parter’!!!
In ‘Part One’ the world is in a flux, with the possibility of renewal from STXfilms, Anton, Thunder Road, G-BASE Film Production, Cinemachine, Lionsgate (plus we go back to how this happened). Influencers are hunting for clout, but have they interfered in something more sinister than fame thanks to Dark Atlantic & Indie Rights. THEN, in the cinema the tournament of champions has begun, so mortal peril is afoot via New Line Cinema, Atomic Monster, Broken Road Productions, Fireside Films, Warner Bros. Pictures (plus we go back to the 2021 start)!!!
'Greenland' is directed by Ric Roman Waugh, and written by Chris Sparling. John Garrity must fight for survival of his family (Allison (Morena Baccarin) & Nathan (Roger Dale Floyd)) as a planet-destroying comet races to Earth.
'Greenland 2: Migration' is directed by Ric Roman Waugh, and written by Chris Sparling & Mitchell LaFortune. When their Greenland bunker is destroyed, John Garrity (Gerard Butler), his wife Allison (Morena Baccarin), and son Nathan (Roman Griffin Davis) return to the surface in search of a new safe haven.
'Strawstalker' is written & directed by George Henry Horton. A fame hungry couple (Branika Scott, George Henry Horton) who move into an ideal LA home, only to have their new dream life spiral into a nightmare at the straw hands of a supernatural scarecrow.
'Mortal Kombat' is directed by Simon McQuoid and written by Greg Russo and Dave Callaham. Cole Young (Lewis Tan) is a washed-up MMA fighter who discovers he is among a group of fighters (Jessica McNamee, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin) chosen to defend Earthrealm against malevolent forces from Outworld in the eponymous Mortal Kombat tournament.
'Mortal Kombat II' is directed by Simon McQuoid, and written by Jeremy Slater, based on the video game created by Ed Boon & John Tobias. The fan favorite champions (Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Lewis Tan) — now joined by Johnny Cage (Karl Urban) himself—are pitted against one another in the ultimate, no-holds barred, gory battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn (Martyn Ford) that threatens the very existence of the Earthrealm and its defenders.
