'The Mission' is written & directed by The Gaza Collective & Mike Lerner. An unflinching portrait of life in Gaza at the height of Israeli attacks. The filmmakers follow a doctor of British / Iraqi origin who travels to volunteer in a local hospital. What emerges is an uncensored chronicle of war, the daily fight to sustain a collapsing medical system under relentless bombardment, and the immense emotional burden carried by victims and their families.
