Now, people, are you ready for ‘Part TWO’ of @EchoChamberFP as we are doing something completely different!
Obviously there’s a BIG release this week, and because of the magnitude we have gone back to the beginning. All the way to 2017 and then revisit all the building blocks that have led to the latest instalment from our ’Friendly Neighbourhood Webcrawler’ and the 38th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). We did actually cover the last joint on episode 196, but this was about creating an experience, capturing that Spidey vibe, which I think we did!!!
'Spider Man: Homecoming' is directed by Jon Watts, who co-wrote with Jonathan Goldstein, John Francis Daley, Christopher Ford, Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. It's the 16th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and part of 'Phase Three'. Spider-Man [Tom Holland] begins to navigate his new identity as the web-slinging superhero under the watchful eye of his mentor Tony Stark.
'Spider-Man: Far From Home' is directed by Jon Watts, and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. Peter (Tom Holland) is recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) to help stop the Elementals while he is on a school trip to Europe.
'Spider-Man: No Way Home' is directed by Jon Watts, and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) secret identity is revealed to the entire world. Desperate for help, Peter turns to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to make the world forget that he is Spider-Man. The spell goes horribly wrong and shatters the multiverse, bringing in monstrous villains (Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Rhys Ifans, Thomas Haden Church) that could destroy the world.
'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. A forgotten Peter Parker (Tom Holland) lives alone as a full-time Spider-Man until mounting pressure triggers a dangerous change and a powerful new enemy emerges.
