We're in 'Day 2' of the 67th BFI London Film Festival #LFF (4th to 15th October 2023) and our @EchoChamberFP coverage rolls on!

Today we have three films for you, a coming of age musical number, and two Gala highlights!

'Bonus Track' is directed by Julia Jackman and written by Mike Gilbert. All socially awkward George (Joe Anders) cares about is music. When the charismatic Max (Samuel Small) joins his school, George realises that he’s the key to writing the perfect song. But George realises maybe the real prize isn’t winning the talent show... it’s Max.

'The Bikeriders' is written & directed by Jeff Nichols and based upon a phonebook from Danny Lyon. When Kathy (Jodie Comer) first meets the Chicago Outlaws biker gang, she’s horrified. But she finds herself swept up in a whirlwind romance with the brooding Benny (Austin Butler), and soon the Outlaws become her way of life. When a local photographer (Mike Faist) begins hanging around the gang, Kathy tells him the gang’s story from her own unique perspective. But what begins as a safe space for outsiders, presided over by the level-headed Johnny, becomes something much more sinister as the years roll by.

'The Killer' is directed by David Fincher and written by Andrew Kevin Walker. It's an adaptation of the comic book series from Alexis 'Matz' Nolent & Luc Jacamon. In absolute stillness, an unnamed assassin lurks in the darkness, surveilling his next target with an almost inhuman patience. But beneath his steely resolve is a man wrestling with his inner conscience. When a botched hit leaves the gunman with no choice but to retire from the world of professional killing, his shadowy past isn’t so willing to let him go – making him a target for his former employers, and his own demons.
