Fight Predictions: UFC on ESPN+ 46: Font vs Garbrandt
Well, unlike other week's, it looks like we have a full card going into tonights 'UFC on ESPN+ 46' (#UFCVegas27)
There are title implications, debuts, must wins, we have action from start to finish.
A few fighters on the card really need a win, especially Yancy Medeiros (@yancymedeiros) & Damir Hadžović (@hadzo) 🇧🇦 The same can definitely be said for former 'The Ultimate Fighter' winner Court McGee (@courtmcgeemma) 🇺🇸 as he goes against Cláudio Silva (@claudiohannibalsilva) 🇧🇷 who, just being on a one fight skid, is the safest of them all.
Not including the Main event, we have SIX 'Straight Fire' fights on the card.
Rafael Alves (@Rafael_TheTurn) 🇧🇷 REALLY wants to put the horrendous weight miss behind him and show that Lightweight is his home. BUT, Damir Ismagulov (@ismagulov_damir) 🇷🇺 hasn't lost since 20.09.2015 and is on a 17 fight win streak.
Both Ricardo Ramos (@ricardoramosmma) 🇧🇷 & Bill Algeo (@senor.perfecto) 🇺🇸 have given some crazy performances, so this should be a fun one!
Jack Hermansson (@jackthejokermma) 🤡 & Edmen Shahbazyan (@edmenshahbazyan) 🇦🇲 had been on impressive winning streaks, with fire finishes. So coming into this off a loss a piece, you know that they want to get back to old ways fast‼️
The only mishap of the card was Raulian Paiva (@raulianpaivamma) 🇧🇷 being replaced, by Juancamilo Ronderos (@1camilor) 🇨🇴 🇺🇲 on one days notice. The problem for Ronderos is, he has to face David Dvořák (@dvorak.david) 🇨🇿
We keep hearing rumblings that the Women's Featherweight division could be done. So Felicia Spencer (@feenom479) 🇨🇦 & Norma Dumont Viana (@norma_dumont_mma) 🇧🇷 will want to put on a display to show that it needs to be kept on the books‼️
It's probably fair to say, that the Co-main between Yan Xiaonan (@Xiaonan_Yan) 🇨🇳 & Carla Esparza (@carlaesparza1) could give us the next challenger for the Strawweight belt. So both will be looking for that W‼️
AND then, our Main Event, Rob Font @Rob_Font 🧨 has really evolved into an elite level fighter and Cody Garbrandt @Cody_NoLove 🥊 is the former champion. A win could definitely give a case for a shot at the Bantamweight strap. Though the waiting list is building up‼️
