Studio Soho Distribution have today announced February 18th 2022 as the UK release date for the bitter sweet comedy NEVER TOO LATE starring Oscar nominees James Cromwell (Babe, Star Trek, LA Confidential, The Green Mile) and Jacki Weaver (Animal Kingdom, Silver Linings Playbook) alongside Dennis Waterman, (The Sweeney, Minder), Roy Billing and Shane Jacobson.

Described as cross between Grumpy Old Men and The Great Escape, Never Too Late is the riotous story of four heroic Vietnam veterans, famous for escaping from a POW camp, whose new challenge is to break out of the nursing home from hell to chase their unrealised dreams.

Directed by Mark Lamprell, Never Too Late is an affecting comedy about four friends reconciling after years apart to teach each other that it’s never too late, no matter how old you are, to chase your dreams.

Never Too Late is an FG Film Productions (Australia) production with Principal Investment from Screen Australia in association with the South Australian Film Corporation.

Director is Mark Lamprell (My Mother Frank, Goddess, A Few Less Men), screenplay was written by screenwriter and crime novelist Luke Preston and the film was produced by Antony I Ginnane (Patrick, Turkey Shoot) and David Lightfoot (Wolf Creek).
