As we enter the back half of the 67th BFI London Film Festival (4th to 15th October 2023), we have two features for you on 'Day 7' of our @EchoChamberFP coverage!

The films are from the 'Journey' and 'Special Presentations' strands, both deal with relationships and different concepts of love.

'Haar' is written & directed by Ben Hecking. As Jef (Kate Kennedy), a 32 year old Unit Production Manager, runs errands and navigates the dying embers of an ill-advised affair (Jack Morris), news from home and a chance encounter (Fehinti Balogun) prompt her to reassess the relationships in her life.

'Foe’ is directed by Garth Davis, who co-wrote it with Iain Reid. The lives of a married couple, Hen (Saoirse Ronan) and Junior (Paul Mescal), are turned upside down when a stranger arrives at their farm and informs Junior he will be sent to a large space station, and Hen will be left in the company of a robot.
