Ol Tom Brumpton hit me up with a short film hitting a run of Festival dates, and needing a space to shine. A REALLY different thing with this one, is it’s highlighting Sami culture, but in a really understated way. We made it work, cause that’s what the podcast is. But also, the exploration of culture is always interesting. And having the brother & sister creative team on hand to fill in cultural blanks. As well as exspue their storytelling foballs, working rituals, filmmaking connective tissue and so much more. Which is even more impressive when English isn’t their first language!!! First there’s an exploration of love & relationships expertly handled via Cat People Films, Rhombus Media, XYZ Films, Elevation Pictures, Shudder. We then bring life or something into the world, thanks to Pumpkin Patch Productions, IFC Films & Shudder. AND, also in the cinemas is a new imagining of a beloved game (and somewhat film) franchise (we look at the 2002 joint as well)) utilising a medical delivery in a vastly superior and horrifying way from Columbia Pictures, Constantin Film, Davis Films, Subconscious, Vertigo Entertainment, PlayStation Productions, Sony Pictures Releasing!!!

We’ve had gators, but now the Bayou has gotten a LOT more dangerous thanks to Signature Entertainment, Capture Entertainment, Aura Entertainment, Malta Film Commission. We go back to 80’s and the Cold War with Apple Studios, Skydance Media, Maximum Effort @maximumeffort, Apple TV as a pilot has to deal with being behind enemy lines and preconceptions! In the cinema we have a British folk legend reconceived in a dark forlorn way by Lyrical Media, Northern Ireland Film, Northern Ireland Screen, Ryder Picture Company, A24. There is the sequel to a Lockdown survival hit, that ups the peril, from Tea Shop Productions, Capstone Pictures, Flawless Productions Inc, Lionsgate Films, Grindstone Entertainment Group, Signature Entertainment. AND, transporting a liver to a hospital becomes extremely deadly thanks to 2521 Entertainment, Broken Road Productions, Nickel City Pictures, A Higher Standard, Industry Entertainment, Angel Studios!

When’ve we have groundbreaking, crazy interesting, unique stories, there’s a very good chance, the world renowned AJ Feuerman is involved!!! So this brand new sci-fi joint, conceived during a time of incredible hardship is experimenting with a new way of creating. The writer / director is also coming at sci-fi in the way he believes is its essence. This was something we were able to get into during a really interesting chat, along with the conception & structuring of the film. Which some may think, BUT it isn’t A.I. just well crafted editing!
