For ‘Part One’ we’re all cinema! We have MRC, LuckyChap Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures kind of adaptation of a classic Brontë novel, US horror fans get zombies via Independent Film Company. There’s a new psychological drama from A24, Fat City, Bronxburgh. AND, Agile Films, Lionsgate, Bankside Films, It's All Made Up Productions bring us a prison drama that might be grittier than OZ!!!

Thanks to London Flair PR & Shaimaa Khan we had the opportunity to check out a silent animated short, that explores themes of loss, grief, mental fatigue, emotional isolation, amongst other things. THEN, we sit down with the one man band who created & conceived this incredible piece. We talk about the process, finding the story, and building from that point, the emotional aspect, as well as delving into a different culture. MARGARET always have an array of interesting titles, so it was tremendously enjoyable to work with Robyn Deane for this marvellous book adaptation! As soon as you step into the world of 'Little Amélie', you can see why the BAFTA's, Oscar's and Cesar's have so much love for this story. SO, getting to sit down with the co-director's and exploring what went into the 7 years of meticulous refinement, growth, evolution, and story breadth! In ‘Part One’ we have four very different joints. We start off with a rom-com which deals with the 14th from Indy Entertainment, Poster Child Pictures, Showdown Productions, Valletta Pictures, Wagner Entertainment, Gravitas Ventures, Shout! Studios. Then there's a witchy documentary from Intermission Film, Anti-Worlds hitting Shudder. Scott Motisko hit us with an indie thriller that has spice and enough tension to have you gripped via White Room, 80 Proof Pictures & Scatena & Rosner Films. PLUS, in cinemas there’s a new crime capper from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Working Title Films, The Story Factory, Wild State, Raw, Amazon MGM Studios, Sony Pictures Releasing International which has more twists than a slalom course!!!

We take a look at a film that took a while to come together, which as these things sometimes do, worked out. Cause what we get is a hard boiled, psychological thriller, that keeps you drawn in all the way to the dramatic end! THEN, we sit down with the director (who also has a pivotal role in the joint), to find out how all of this came together. How time played into things, finding the litmus of the story, and what storytelling means to him, among a host of other things! This is another must watch / listen, so enjoy!!! I'd tried to look at the film earlier in the year, but things didn't come together. Out of the blue though, I got a message from the director, and we got things popping! Which was fantastic, cause this film.....the psychological rollercoaster is crazy! You don't know where it's going, and then when we get there, the questions!!! And of course, we sit down with this master storyteller in the making, to find out things like, what that feature debut vibe felt like.
