Thanks to Franckie Francin & Patricia Chica at ChicArt PR we got to dip our toe into the Cannes Festival International Film & Inclusion and cover an extraordinary documentary playing as part of the Pavillon Afriques x Pavillon Afronova. THEN we sit down with the filmmaker to peel back the different aspects of storytelling that allowed for such an immersive experience. The documentary explores the profound global impact and ancestral roots of Yoruba culture, tracing its journey from West Africa to the Americas (including Brazil and the Caribbean) and across Europe.
